 Community Cookbook Gives Back

Thanks to the overwhelming support and generosity of our community, the book is now printed and available for sale at various locations throughout the region.

As part of the fundraising campaign, people were encouraged to purchase one book, plus one for donation back into the community. To date, we have 19 cookbooks to be donated to local schools and initiatives. Way to go, folks!

The books will be distributed throughout the Southern Georgian Bay region including to the following locations:

  • Golden Town Outreach, Meaford
  • C.C.I Hospitality & Tourism Program, Collingwood
  • S.W.A.C Program, Georgian College
  • My Friend’s House, Collingwood
  • Beaver Valley Outreach, Thornbury
  • Beaver Valley Community School
  • Nottawasaga Creemore Public School

  • Pretty River Academy
  • The Blue Mountains Public Library
  • Collingwood Public Library
  • Meaford Public Library
  • Owen Sound & North Grey Union Public Library

In addition, 10% from each book sold is set aside in a fund to support local food initiatives and programs. To date, we have just over $4,000 in the fund!
